We offer private lessons for all ages and all abilities, for both skiers and snowboarders in either 1-1 settings or private groups of you and your friends or family. Our instructors can also teach in English or French.
TIMES
​
We typically offer a choice of 2,75hr or 3hr lessons in the mornings and 2, 2.5hr or 2,75hr lessons in the afternoons to get the most done whilst avoiding fatigue.
Private lessons are available 7 days a week during the winter season:
Typical lesson times:

Morning lessons - 09:00 - 11:45 or 09:15 -12:00 (2.75 hr lesson) I 09:00 - 12:00 (3hrs)

Afternoon lessons - 12:15 - 14:15 (2 hr lesson) and 14:30 - 16:30 (2hrs) or 14:30 - 17:00 (2.5hrs) or 14:30 - 17:15 (2.75hrs)

Private lessons are the ultimate way to improve your skiing and snowboarding. Here's a few reasons why:

Safety - Our priority number 1 is your safety and we choose the best terrain for your lesson, whether it be the best snow, the quietest slopes or the most relevant conditions for your goals

Enjoyment - Priority number 2 is for you to enjoy yourself. Skiing and snowboarding is all about having fun and we believe that the more fun you have, the faster you improve

Learning - one-on-one lesson structure gives you the undivided attention of the instructor, who can identify your good and bad habits and give you warm ups, drills and exercises that you can continue to practise after your lesson. We often receive reviews in which our clients say they have had their skiing or snowboarding transformed in just a single lesson

Private lessons also give you some more flexibility of meeting point around the Avoriaz ski area. Our group lessons all start and finish at The Hut. Having an instructor also allows you to access ski school lanes to reduce lift queue time.

Had lessons with both Laurent and Mark, both of whom were fantastic teachers!
I felt like I improved from run to run based on their instructiona nd found it very easy to discuss technique, understand their feedback and what to focus on from run to run and left each lesson with confidence that I could in fact ski.
Will be returning for the Christmas break and looking forward to booking lessons here again with both.

We had the most amazing 5 days in Avoriaz, Mark is a great coach William (14) loved going on long adventures and I felt reassured he was in safe hands. Mark was super patient with me the late learner and pushed me out of my comfort zone just enough to help me achieve runs I could only have dreamed of without his presence. We will be back next year.
