The Avoriaz Alpine Ski School main meeting point - THE HUT - is perfectly situated on the Avoriaz Plateau between La Folie Douce & le Yeti. We have an on-snow meeting point chalet, and a private area for starting and finishing lessons. From here we have instant access to beginner runs, easy blue runs, hard blue runs, red runs, black runs and off piste. For private lessons, our instructors can meet you elsewhere around Avoriaz if you prefer, although THE HUT is the ideal location for most.

For some lessons (e.g. beginner lessons with clients coming up Prodains lift) we can meet you at THE TOP OF THE PRODAINS LIFT. Please check your booking confirmation email to see if you are meeting at THE HUT or at the TOP OF PRODAINS LIFT. When you get to the top of the Prodains lift, come up the escalator, turn right at the top and walk out onto the snow. If you walk 30 metres across to the bottom of the Plateau chairlift, your instructor will meet you there.

You can easily access our meeting point HUT from Morzine. Choose your starting point below for further details on how to find us. We recommend downloading the Avoriaz Up/Down mobile app for piste maps, live status of lifts and pistes openings, queue times, SOS calls and recommended attractions.

2) Take Prodains Gondola
3) Walk 30 metres from top of Prodains to bottom of Plateau chair Lift
4) Get off Plateau, turn right and ski 100 metres to our meeting point (look for green & purple flags, beside Folide Douce)

If you are staying in Morzine, you can easily access the Avoriaz Plateau via the Prodains gondola lift. There is also plenty of parking at Prodains, which is approximately 6 euros for a days skiing.

The Prodains Express gondola takes 4 minutes to reach Avoriaz. From the top of the lift, walk 30 metres across to the bottom of the Plateau bubble lift and get on it, which will take you to a stones throw from our meeting point hut, where you will see large green and purple flags, beside the lively Folie Douce bar and restaurant.

We recommend starting the lesson at our hut, however, if you prefer, our instructor can meet you at the top of the Prodains Gondola.

Please double check the meeting point on your booking confirmation. Does it say 'Ski school office' or 'Top of Prodains/Bottom of Plateau lift'?
