
Off Piste Skiing and Snowboarding is very dear to us at Avoriaz Alpine Ski School. We love the backcountry and we love sharing it with people. It's great to have increasing participation in this sport - to have more people enjoying natural environments. But it's essential for people to have easy access to the vital education which people need to go off piste safely.
There's no substitute to real world, on-snow training courses in the mountains (we can help you with these here). But there is also a lot of preparation and theory you can do ahead of time so that you are more informed when you get to the mountains.
