With the use of climbing skins (fibred strips which can be temporarily glued to the bottom of touring skis or splitboards allowing you to walk up-hill) you can hike to new backcountry areas and mountains away from ski lifts. This opens up a lifetime of adventure, natural beauty and powder snow which we cannot recommend highly enough!
Our introduction to ski-touring sessions introduce you to the equipment, techniques and safety precautions necessary to get going in this amazing activity! Our instructors will be using ski-touring equipment, but these sessions are open to splitboard snowboarders as well.
