Ian McKellar - Director
ski, snowboard & paraplegic.
Ian formed the original school in 1992 which is now run as a cooperative. He is our current Director and has 30 seasons teaching experience in the Alps, 25 of them in the Portes du Soleil. His background is in mogul skiing and he represented Britain at world cup level. He was an examiner for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors for 8 years. |

Annie ski and telemark/touring.
Annie has been instructing for 21 seasons, 8 with the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School. She is a valuable member of our team. Annie holds an American / Canadian level 2 in Avalanche Awareness and is also a Level 1 / 2 avalanche instructor trainer for the International Institute of Avalanche Research and education. Annie will be working with us during the busy school holiday weeks. |

Lauren Calvet snowboard & ski.
Lauren is our Snowboard Director.He will introduce you to jumps and flips in the park on board and skis. Fluent in French and English with many years teaching in Avoriaz. |

Gabriele Berzo ski and cross country
Gabriele joins us for 2008. An experienced instructor who has worked with British ski school in the Trois Vallee. He has competed at international level in Cross Country skiing, road and mountain biking. |

Pierre ski & snowboard.
Pierre has taught in Avoriaz for over 26 years, he can take you those secret runs that you would never find. Fluent in French with good English clients love his French charm. |

Keith Geddes ski & telemark/touring.
Our second Scot who has spent many years teaching around the world. Keith is a real adventurer traveling the globe and has many a story to tell if you dare ask him! |

Fred Foxon ski.
With over 30 years of experience Fred has taught in over 50 resorts in Europe and North America. Fred has worked for ten years as a senior trainer and examiner for BASI, Britain's professional ski instructor training body. He is also a senior tutor and sports coach with the National Coaching Foundation. Fred will be working wiht us during the busy school holiday weeks.

Jean-Marc Lawrence ski.
Jean-Marc has taught in the USA and France. Fluent in French with good English with previous years working in Avoriaz and the Portes du Soleil. Jean-Marc will be working with us during the busy school holiday weeks.
