Ian McKellar - Director
Ski, Snowboard & Adaptive
Ian formed the original school in 1992. He has 33 seasons teaching experience in the Alps, 27 of them in the Portes du Soleil. Ian represented Britain at world cup level in moguls and was an examiner for the British Association of Snowsport Instructors. Summer job is advanced driver trainer, his passion is windsurfing and cycling.

Snowboard Director
Laurent was one of the original snowboarders in Avoriaz over 22 years ago and his a real hot shot on his board and skis. He will introduce you to jumps and flips in the park on board and skis. Fluent in French and English with many years teaching in Avoriaz.
Laurent runs a mountain biking school during the summer.

ski, freestyle &adaptive.
Mark joins us for a 3rd winter. Mark was the youngest British instructor qualified to teach in France. He is our mogul and park expert and holds the BASI, freestyle and adaptive qualifications. Mark has taught the rich and famous in Verbier including Jodie Kidd!
Summer job is a beach life guard for the RNLI. Mark loves to surf, windsurf and seacliff climbing.

Tom, known to all as "Wilkes" joins us part time for a 3rd winter. Another young talented British instructor. Mark and Wilkes spend a part of the winter exploring the best off piste in the world, last year Canada next winter Alaska or Russia!
Summer job is organising Wilkstock a charity concert.

Fred, joins us part time for a 4th winter. Fred was a senior trainer with BASI and instrumental in moving BASI into the 21st century with exciting new ideas on teaching techniques. With over 3 decades of experience we are thrilled to have Fred on our team.
Summer job is one of Britain's leading expert witnesses in snowsport related accidents.

Ben is Britain's leading mogul skier and is currently ranked 2nd Junior in the world and top junior in France. Ben lives near Avoriaz and trains with the French team he can often be seen ripping the bumps in Avoriaz. He is our hope for the future and has every chance of making it all the way and we are pleased to support him.
Ski with Ben:Ben will often help out with some of our Top Tips clinics passing on his knowledge of mogul skiing to our clients.
